Meghan and Harry's Home
The couple of the Dukes of Sussex who are making the world discuss after the statements about the Megexit by the royal family in the most famous talk show of Oprah Winfrey, have decided after Canada to move to California, where they want to raise their first child Archie and their next daughter.
Meghan and Harry bought their first house, after their divorce from the royal family, the new symbol of their autonomy is a villa in Montecito worth 14 million dollars.
Montecito in Santa Barbara County, California is one of the most chosen places by Hollywood celebrities, thanks to its hills it guarantees great privacy and a certain ease to the sea coast. Montecito before becoming a VIP district, in the nineteenth it was famous for being a refuge for bandits, in 1870 some Italians went to the town because it recalled the landscapes of their beloved Italy, over the years thanks to the comfortable services, privacy, vast grounds the Californian climate and proximity to Santa Barbara became a prestigious location.
Meghan and Harry's villa bought in August 2020 for 11 million dollars, is an estate that has over 7 acres of land and belonged to the Russian oligarch Sergey Grishin.
The estate includes nine bedrooms, sixteen bathrooms, two saunas, a library, an elevator, a cinema room, a gym, a theater, a tennis court, a swimming pool and a playground for children. With a rustic and Mediterranean style, the estate is surrounded by well-kept gardens in which rose gardens, centuries-old olive groves, cypresses and meadows appear.
The estate is very reminiscent of an Italian villa, with a breathtaking sea view. A perfect setting in this time of world lockdown to enjoy home.
In the interview with Oprah, we notice how Meghan and Harry want to enjoy nature and living outdoors.
The couple have two dogs and a chicken coop rescued from intensive farming.
Surely for them it is a completely different lifestyle from the life of Buckingham Palace and definitely with a different climate, compared to cold England.
Prince Harry in the interview with Oprah says he loves walks and days on the beach which have always been very far from his London routine.
We wish the ex-royals a good life in warm California and for those wishing to experience a stay in their villa it is possible to rent it for a day without spending the night!
